Draft for review. This text describes how the site works today. It has not yet been reviewed by the site’s owner or a lawyer and will be replaced before the site launches.
Who is responsible
Balkan Lakes [owner’s name and address to be added]. You can contact us through the Report an issue page.
What we collect
- Suggestions and reports: your message, which page it is about, the language and, if you give them, your name and email. To prevent abuse we keep a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
- Server logs: like every website, our hosting records technical data about requests (IP address, time, page, browser) for security and operation.
- Editor accounts: if you have an account on the site, WordPress stores your login details.
How long we keep it
Your name, email and the IP hash are erased twelve months after your suggestion is closed. You can ask us to erase them earlier.
What we don’t do
At the moment we use no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers, and we don’t sell or share your data. Maps are served from our own server.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the data protection laws of the countries we cover, you can ask to see, correct or erase your data and object to its use, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
